![]() In GR 100+ it is very rare to even get a yellow. It has been my experience that GR 90 achieves the max drop rate of 12 items, but often one or two of them are yellows or blues. ![]() So, to farm primals, you would need to get the most legendary drops in the shortest amount of time. And look at any useful primals you do get as a bonus.Īny time the game drops a legendary item, there is a chance that it could be primal. Unless you are planning to farm up 5k+ paragon, it's probably better to just focus on getting well-rolled ancients. ![]() So it's a ton of extra farming for a very small amount of extra power. Several of which probably had good enough stats to be nearly equivalent to a perfectly stat'ed primal, since they both have the same stat maximum. In all that effort to find ONE primal you would have likely found dozens of ancients. And it also still leaves you with issue of bad stats. And bounties are pretty inefficient for progress. But I believe that is still a 1 in 400 chance, so it would require a LOT of bounty mats. You can target specific items by reforging legendaries in the cube. And then that still leaves the issue of whether the stats are decent or if there are too many bad ones to reroll. But since that primal could be any item that can drop, your looking at probably several thousand legendaries just to find one that is for your build. If you're looking at a console leaderboard there's a high chance those people are using save-state bugs to fish for primals and just resetting the save if it doesn't work.Īs for legitimately farming primals, they have a drop rate of about 1 in 400 legendaries.
